MENA Publisher
An AI-powered curriculum engine for one of Egypt's largest publishers.
A confidential AI program with a major Egyptian publisher: turning decades of print curriculum across Arabic, sciences, physics, chemistry, and biology into a fully digital, exam-ready learning stack — 29 projects, 142 lessons, and an 87,000+ item question bank, almost all keyed with answers and rationales.
The publisher owns a decades-old, market-leading print catalogue across Thanaweya and preparatory grades, but had no scalable way to digitise it, key it to learning outcomes, or turn it into practice at exam scale. Manual authoring could not keep pace with curriculum changes, and off-the-shelf LLMs were unreliable on Arabic pedagogy, Ministry sources, and short-answer keying.
Ejaz built a private, Arabic-first authoring and exam-intelligence stack on top of the publisher's own material. Ejaz Author digitises books into structured lessons and objectives. Ejaz Exam Intelligence generates MCQ and short-answer items against distractor patterns and question formats, with editor-in-the-loop review. A private RAG layer over the publisher's materials keeps every question, answer, and rationale grounded in their own source of truth — not the open web.
Primary, preparatory, and secondary learners following the Egyptian national curriculum — served through a leading Egyptian publisher whose name is protected under NDA.
What we shipped with MENA Publisher.
Full Thanaweya coverage
Arabic (Grade 3 secondary), chemistry, physics, biology, integrated science, and preparatory-level science — all authored on a single pipeline against the same objectives model.
Exam-scale question bank
More than 87,000 items — roughly 53k MCQ and 34k short answers — with answer text and rationale on ~99.9% of the bank, ready for practice, mocks, and diagnostics.
Editor-in-the-loop authoring
Ejaz Author generates drafts against 158 distractor patterns and 119 question formats, then routes them through the publisher's editors for approval before anything reaches a learner.
Objectives-first pedagogy
4,400 learning objectives anchor every lesson and question, so blueprint coverage, difficulty mix, and Bloom distribution are measurable rather than assumed.
Private, grounded RAG
Around 22,000 vector chunks over the publisher's own materials keep the AI answering from Ministry-approved sources and the publisher's books — never the open internet.
Ready for premium video
Amnora is wired in for secure delivery of premium teacher video and cohort content on top of the same curriculum spine.
